Biography

Curd Bollen became DDS in 1992 at the Catholic University of Leuven in Belgium. In 1996, he has completed his PhD at the age of 27 years at the same university on the topic: “Full-mouth disinfection”. One year later he finished his MSc training in periodontology under the supervision of prof. dr. D. van Steenberghe. He is the director of Mondcentrum dr. Bollen, a clinic in the Netherlands, limited to periodontology and implantology. He has published more than 25 papers in reputed international journals and more than 20 in national dental journals, even as 8 chapters in international dental books. Dr. Bollen is serving as an editorial board member for 4 online dental journals. He is also consultant for the company DYNA Dental Engeneering.
